When buying a diamond ring, pay attention to the weight, setting, clarity, cut, color and other details of the ring.
1. Weight
According to international standards, the weight of the diamond is expressed in carat (CT) : 1 carat =100 points, in the case of the same color, clarity and cut shape, the price of the diamond is proportional to the square of the weight, the greater the weight of the diamond, the higher the value.
3. Clarity
According to gia standards, clarity grades can be divided from top to bottom: FL, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, I1, I2, I3. Where FL is flawless grade, there are no flaws and inclusions under a 10x magnifying glass, and Grade I diamonds can already be visible to the naked eye. The clearer the diamond, the brighter the diamond looks.
5. Color
The Gemological Institute of America has divided the diamond color from D to Z according to the amount of yellow elements contained in the diamond, a total of 23 grades. The higher the grade, the more expensive the price.
