According to Article 7 of Chapter 4 of the Interim Regulations on Marriage Registration in China, the parties shall submit three 2-inch recent half body, bareheaded photos of both parties. Photos can be taken in advance outside or on-site at the Civil Affairs Bureau.
Requirements for Marriage Registration Photos
1. It must be a group photo of two people.
2. The background photo is usually red.
3. The photo must be a recent 2-inch bareheaded group photo.
4. Do not use life photos or art photos, let alone composite images.
5. Do not excessively plot.
6. The exposed part of the person in the photo is usually from chest to shoulder.
