Diamond VS2 belongs to the defect level of diamonds, where smaller flaws can be seen under a ten fold magnifying glass, but cannot be seen with the naked eye. The quality of diamonds with such clarity is very good. VS2 level diamonds are very popular among investors and can be considered as entry-level investment grade diamonds.
GIA divides diamond clarity into 11 levels, namely FL (flawless), IF (internally flawless), vvs (very subtle), vs (subtle), SI (minor), and I (heavy).
Among them, diamond VS2 has visible flaws under a ten fold magnifying glass, but it is difficult to distinguish with the naked eye, making it the second highest diamond grade clarity level after VVS. Before VS2, there is VS1 level, and their difference is that VS2 will have tiny cotton like dots or small stubble.
VS2 grade diamonds are also relatively expensive. If the purpose of purchasing diamonds is for investment or collection, then VS and above grade diamonds can be chosen.
