According to Article 5 of Chapter 2 of China's Marriage Registration Regulations, mainland residents who apply for marriage registration shall provide their household registration book, ID card, and a signed declaration stating that they have no spouse and no direct blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations with the other party. In addition, the remarriage requires the issuance of divorce certificate and other marriage certification materials, and the party with collective household registration needs to carry the permanent population registration card or registered residence certificate.
Marriage registration conditions
1. Men must be at least 22 years old, and women must be at least 20 years old.
2. Non consanguineous marriage.
3. There is no legal prohibition on marriage or illness.
4. Both parties are currently unmarried, divorced, or widowed.
5. Both parties voluntarily marry.
