Qixi is not a legal holiday in China, and the Civil Affairs Bureau does not take holidays. If the day of Qixi Festival is a working day and is not within the statutory holidays, the Civil Affairs Bureau is on duty.

Apply for marriage registration
2. The newlyweds who apply for marriage registration need to bring the necessary certificates to the Civil Affairs Bureau where one party's registered residence is located to register their marriage. They cannot apply for marriage registration in other places.
3. Pay attention to whether the ID card number filled in by the proofreader is consistent with the ID card, and the information should be consistent without typos.
4. For those who are unable to submit their ID card due to unforeseen circumstances, a valid temporary ID card can be issued.
5. Expired or invalidated ID cards, household registration books, and other documents are not eligible for marriage registration.

The parties with collective household registration obtain a marriage certificate
7. The parties who remarry need to bring additional divorce documents such as divorce certificates that can prove their marital status.
8. I must fill out the 'Application for Marriage Registration Declaration' in person.
